The Chiapaneca costume is a traditional piece that originates in the city of Chiapa de Corzo in the state of Chiapas Mexico. It is described as the typical Chiapas costume.
The outfit consists of a blouse and an adjustable skirt. The satin blouse has a semicircular neckline and wears a tulle flight with flowers embroidered on a woven roving with colorful cotton threads. The skirt is long and very wide in satin fabric, embroidered flowers on tulle, and adjustable wrap around the waist.
Adjustable neckline, sleeves, and waist. Can be made on white or black background. Can be specially ordered in different color backgrounds or single color floral embroidery.
Can be made in another fabric color as a special order item.
