Collection: Chiapas Traditional

The Chiapas costume is an item of traditional clothing that has its origin in the city of Chiapa de Corzo. It is usually described as a typical costume of Chiapas.  The costume consists of a blouse and a skirt.

The blouse is made of satin with a semicircular hatch, wears a flight of tulle with flowers embroidered in with either silk or thin yarn.

The skirt is also of long satin and very wide, even today it is seen by the fashion world as a piece of international stature for its beauty and brilliance.

The Chiapaneca costume, a term that has been coined since the time of the Spanish Conquest, has modified its shape and color throughout the years.
